So you want smooth, kissable lips — I get it. A parched, chapped pout just isn’t going to cut it anymore, and how else is your lipstick supposed to glide on smoothly? The beauty secret to getting your kissers from dry as a bone to soft ‘n’ supple resides in this 30 second lip exfoliant trick, which is guaranteed to make your pout look all plump and pretty within moments. Don’t believe me? Try it!

- Clean disposable mascara brush/spoolie brush (we used a Manicare Disposable Mascara Wand). If you don’t have one of these handy, use a soft bristled toothbrush to achieve the same effect.

- Lip balm (we used Smith’s Rosebud Salve, which leaves the pout smelling DELISH!)

1. Dip your disposable mascara wand into the balm and coat the bristles fully.

2. Scrub the brush over your lips in small circular motions until the flaky bits start to peel off. Be as gentle as possible, though — the lips are delicate and need a similarly gentle touch!

3. Use a small face towel soaked with warm water to gently remove any flaky residue.

4. Apply an extra layer of balm over the top to smooth things out. Now flash your biggest, most cheesiest smile!
