Sinopsis: Pacific Rim sendiri mengisahkan tentang monster raksasa maha dahsyat bernama Kaiju yang bangkit dari lautan. Perang besar untuk mengalahkan para monster tersebut demi keselamatan jutaan umat manusia pun dimulai. Ketika serangan alien mengancam keberadaan Bumi, robot raksasa dikemudikan oleh manusia dikerahkan untuk melawan ancaman tersebut. Untuk mengalahkan monster Kaiju, mereka harus menggunakan senjata canggih berbentuk robot yang disebut “Jaegers” . Robot tersebut akan dikendarai oleh pimpinan Pilot (Charlie Hunnam) dan anak buahnya (Rinko Kikuchi). Bersama mereka berjuang mati-matian dan menjadi satu-satunya harapan bagi jutaan umat manusia dari teror monster tersebut.
